STORAGE RACK SYSTEM-DRIVE IN RACK
Description:
Forklift trucks drive into lanes of racking that are specially built to support two outer edges of the pallets. Stacking to 10 meters high and to four or five and even 10 deep, this systems can provide very dense storage capacity, with lower access and rotation of products. As the truck enters the racking, special precautions ensure the truck, pallet and load, and the racking are not damaged. Flat floors are an advantage.
The design usually incorporates a stability structure at the rear of the rack, providing drive ¨Cin access from one side. Drive-through requires the same stability, with a variation in design.
